  1. Identification
    • Each piece of insulation or insulation element has its own identifying tag attached to the external jacket.
    • Tag measurements are 4.1 x 9.0 cm and 0.1 cm thick, made from aluminium (not containing copper)
    • Each tag has engraved the manufacturer’s name and the product identification number.
  2. Material Specifications
    • Insulation Material:

Insulation is made from fiberglass needle mat, WST: Thermal insulation is made from 100% mechanically pressed fiberglass. The material is resistant to water, steam, acid and oil. Diameter of base fibres larger than 6 µm. Maximum constant working temperature is 750oC.

  • Internal jacket (sample specification *)

Silicon impregnated fiberglass textile such as: satin weave fiberglass textile with double coated silicon layer SiF 1×80/1×60 g/m2. Total material weight is 570 gr/m2, 0.45 mm thickness. Maximum constant working temperature is 260oC.

  • External jacket (sample specification *)

Silicon impregnated fiberglass textile such as: satin weave fiberglass textile with double coated silicon layer SiF 1×80/1×60 g/m2. Total material weight is 570 gr/m2, 0.45 mm thickness. Maximum constant working temperature is 260oC.

  • Additional elements:
    • Steel thread resistant to high temperatures, made with special steel core and an aramid fibre sheath, to facilitate sewing. In laboratory conditions, the steel core has a temperature resistance to about 1100oC; under stress, the steel core has a resistance to about 600o The thread has a thickness of 000dtex x 1. Tensile strength is 4400cN with an elasticity of 6-7%.
    • Stainless steel nails type 1.3401
